Will that mount fit my SAR-1's integrated mount? I may be interested if it does.

I may drive out to KVAR (About 2000miles from here) and throw this mount at them.

This mount will fit on just about any AK rail, but it won't clear the top cover on anything but a YUGO AK.  Does anyone know of a YUGO AK that has a siderail?  I don't!! Angry

I'm wondering if it MIGHT work on a Saiga.... No idea....

What's different about the Yugo AK's receiver cover, compared to any other variant?  Huh

I think the the way the rivets are mounted on the receiver is different.

Jamie,
To complicate matters more, there is a difference between side rail on Yugo fixed stock and Yugo underfolder models.
The underfolder has to clear a portion of the rail & mount in order to work.
Yours looks straight which leads me to believe that it is for a fixed stock model.

I'm not all that knowledgeable about the rails and mounts, so that's all I can say about that.

I know the feeling.
Hang in there.
Just when you throw the darn thing away two people will  be desperate for one.

On the other hand, IF and when I ever get my Yugo M72 underfolder project off the ground I may be interested in you mount for a fixed stock "leftovers" build. That is, unless I have to sell the extra parts from an M70AB2 out of necessity.

Good luck in the mean time.
