Well, if some sort of "competition" is what you're thinking about, count me as "I don't think so" because I haven't been shooting for well over 9 months, so I'm sure I suck right now. But for others ......

I have a few "fun" targets I made up, maybe people could get into a little competition game thing with those? One is a marmot target, another is a "shrinking circles" target, another is a .22lr competition target, etc....

I think maybe the option to shoot AQT would be good, but not an official appleseed thing. I have some AQT targets printed out (2-page 8.5x11 size). I also have a pdf of it if anyone wants to print more on their printer.

Will we be having any special guests, demonstrations, or merchandise there?

Maybe a "hands-on" training session on something? (I have no suggestions at this time - it was just an idea). Sort of like the Glock Armorer's course at W&W that one day?? Or a session on how to clear FTF, FTE, stovepipes, etc???

Maybe some practice for people who CCW with drawing from their holsters? Some ranges don't allow that, so if LRGC does, it would be a good time to provide practice time and tips for that.

does anyone know someone who has or makes ballistic gelatin blocks? Maybe we could get a hold of a block or two somewhere and then everyone can test their carry ammo out on it? Sort of like what happened at W&W that one time I was there. That was awesome. I know the problem would be cost, because I know that stuff is EXPENSIVE.

Are we cooking/selling food again?

I hope the weather is nice all day that day!

Scope Mounting/sight in clinic.   I'll brinig a ton of tools with me, for various rifles, and help anyone sight in their guns.  I'll bring sandbags, binoculars and even sight the rifles in myself.

I'll be there guys.

I hope to see all of you there and with any luck I'll be bringing some new faces.

I have a few bags of water balloons.  They're great to blow up and try to shoot at 100 yards.  They're a 4-5" target.  They'd be fun for the kids to shoot.

I'll see if I can OK that with Pacer.   Pacer?

On another note, the notion of making this a Polymer themed shoot is taking root.

We have the Glock class at 10am- but I'll ask anyone with a Polymer gun to bring it out.  See if any of you Glockers can get me to buy one.    I'd like to try an M&P or Sig Polymer too.

Water baloons are fine, as long as ALL debris is picked up before leaving the range.

I'm going to buy about a dozen tools for the course and then I'll sell them to people if they want to keep them.  I'll probable do something like this once a year so I'll hold on to any tools that don't sell.

We're spreading the word for an XD Armorer to have a class at this.  If anyone knows somebody that is qualified, please tell them to contact me.

Getting great responses for this, still plenty of time to plan other fun stuff.

Any suggestions?
