I really do not like to leave negative reviews but BOTACH has been a real pain.  I ordered some Hatch gloves from these guys at the beginning of January and the order went into "In Progress" and sat....
I sent a note to inquire as to the status and the online tracking changed to "Will ship in 24 hours" and sat......
After a couple email inquiries and a couple/few weeks I sent another inquiry.  The status changed to "Will ship in 4 to 7 days".
I've had no reasonable explanation or any explanation at all as to why they took an order for a product that they did not have and then proceeded to lie about delivery.
I cannot recommend these guys but fortunately there are a ton of folks selling these gloves.  Sadly, I just picked the wrong outfit.

I have a possible explanation.  Let me know if after you finally get a pair they state they are made in any overseas location that speaks Chinese.  I'm a manufacturer and exporter and its hard to get goods to move properly out of Asia from Thanksgiving until almost late February.

IOW, maybe its not their fault.

I will advise.  However, it is not the fact that they do not have them that is a problem.  It is the fact that they have been lying to me during the process.  This is unacceptable.
Also, I have two different kinds of gloves ordered.  So now we're talking about not having either type?  Why even list them for sale?
Sorry, still cheesed-off.

They could be lying.  Or they might be inept.

But also, China and Taiwan and to a lesser extent Korea have some real issues with supplying product on time.  And the holidays make it worse.  Japan has its act together and you get what they tell you they will give you.  Almost always anyway.

Whereas you can think of Japan as a highly accurate quartz watch where you can time deliveries to a fraction of a second, you can think of mainland China as trying to time events by watching the constellations revolve in the heavens.  It happens eventually but you can't exactly see the movement.

Taiwan and Korea are probelematic.  They are organized to deliver almost like Japan.  The trouble is, the cheap bastards do way too much of their manufacturing in the very unorganized mainland of China.  Or they rely on componenets and subassemblies made in China.  Nearly as bad but not quite.

If these gloves are made in Asia, maybe the store believes they will get them "any day now".

Well I could change my review from negative to "good but inept" but I am not too sure how valuable that would be to anyone who might deal with them.   Grin

Just giving you some free mental ammo for your next interaction with them.  Who knows, they are likely just F'd up.  But maybe they don't want to admit why things aren't in stock?  Probably just bad b'ness men.

Botach has a LONG history of negative reviews from just about anyone who has ordered from them. Order items online or by phone, they say they are in stock, then plan on not seeing the item that you ordered for a long, long time. They have good prices on some gear, but whenever I had to get something from them I picked it up at the store. Of course, that was when I lived in the area.

I'm about to jump into the tactical market and from what I'm guessing, this sounds like a company that mostly "drop ships" their items.  They take your order and then have it shipped from another company.   This is a way of running a busines without keeping inventory but cuts down on your profit margins.  It also slows your order/delivery time.

This sounds like a company that had my order cancelled.  I took my money elsewhere.
