Smith & Wesson Model 28. 6inch. One of mine (my favorite) has the Target Hammer and Trigger. Sweet gun.

My favorite .357 is a Smith & Wesson 686. Stainless Steel w/ oversize checkered grips. It has a very light trigger, great shooter. I will never get rid of this one.

What kind of price range does Model 19s normally go for these days?
I just walked out of a shop that had a used one for $295 with 2 speedloaders and in good condition, but I've read there are variations in Model 19.

What's your favorite .357 revolver?
Which one do you actually like to shoot .357 bullet in?
I like the GP100 4 inch and my S&W Model 19- 4inch.
I have five .357 Magnum Revolvers, but my favorite is one I don't own anymore.
I used to own an Ayoob/Cannon "Street L". Like an idiot I sold it away to pay some bills. That gun is long gone, and I wish I had it back. That gun has been gone for at least ten years, but I'll never forget it.
Of the ones I own today, I like my "slightly modified" 3" GP100 with Fixed Sights the most. That's probably because of all my revolvers it's the one I carry the most when I'm carrying a revolver as an off duty "Primary".

I have several .357mags. My favorite is a 6" model 28 probably because it was my first, a duty weaponandhave won a medal or 2 with it back when PPC matches were popular. Others include a python, couple of 19s and a DanWesson.

S&W 586 with a 6" tube. Hell. I'd carry it as my duty pistol if I could.
