I don't know if I'd rather have a crossbow over a compound bow.   My problem with crossbows is you loose 90% of the arrows you shoot.

Damaged or end up shooting under the grass.   The target I used wasn't very good at stopping them, and the bolts disappeared under the grass.   What velocity do most crossbow bolts shoot at?
