Many of us have a shorter barreled 12ga. shotgun for home defense or a truck gun etc. An 18" cylinder bore barrel is great for maneuvering is a hallway but it also makes for great big patterns at long range and a gun that pretty useless in the field. This was the topic of conversation on a recent visit to Donley`s gun shop. Dave Donley suggested fitting the gun with interchangeable choke tubes and then tempted me with a wicked looking breacher brake. I dropped the barrel off the next day. Smiley He did a beautiful job, it looks factory. The breacher brake, intended for breaching door hinges, isn`t very useful but it sure does look cool! I doubt I`ll ever breach a door but if and intruder gets too close to that hole saw of a muzzle I`ll have a core sample of him for the cops to get DNA from. LOL! More importantly I can now use modified, full or even x-full chokes for better patterns. I may even give it a try at trap. I`m especially intrigued by the Hevishot Dead Coyote x-full extended choke and heavier than lead rounds that are reportedly effective out to 70 yds.! If I get 50 yds. out of it with good patterns I`ll be thrilled. Pics to come and a range report as soon as I can get to the range and pattern it.   Marcus
