Wasn't there another murder at a different range a year or so ago?

I stopped shooting at State Game range due to the lack of safe gun handling skills by an enormous number of people at the range.   I've also heard of 2 other ranges being raided because illegal guns were being shot there.   Can't say that it's safe to shoot alone at any of the State game ranges I've been to in the last 15yrs.   Always carry a gun and never always have eyes in the back of your head when going downrange.

I hope this one gets solved.

It's certainly not unheard of for criminals to visit shooting ranges, especially informal outdoor shooting ranges, to "shop" for guns.  Platt and Matix, the notorious bank robbers who killed several FBI agents in the 1986 Miami shootout were known to acquire their firearms in this manner, usually killing the owner in the process.

"Peake said Tuso kept guns for him and said they'd been " stealing guns for the purpose of overthrowing the federal government" ( of the United State of America.) Peake said he and Tuso together are members of this organization. Peake refused to name that organization and told police he would " kill to defend his country and he was stealing weapons to defend his country."

And they killed a law abiding gun owner to do this?
